It's great that it's on the way, but that's a heck of a gap for what has previously been a core mode in Halo games. Even with 6 years from Halo 5, the game in its current state is not feature-complete (as evidenced by the lack of co-op).

Halo 5s Forge was the most advanced, and Halo Infinite will likely iterate on it further, but current post. Now its been confirmed that Halo Infinite co-op has been delayed yet again. A level editor that lets players create custom maps using in-game assets and custom multiplayer rulesets, Forge originated in Halo 3 and has done wonders for each subsequent entrys longevity.
